2026 Registration System & Deadlines

We are happy to announce that we have again partnered with STEM Wizard to streamline registration and organization for our March 27, 2026 regional science fair. Please use this link to register as Student, Teacher, Judge, or Volunteer.

Important Dates

• IRB preapprovals are now completed at the school level, not by MTSEF's Scientific Review Committee.

• Friday, January 30, 2026 is the Scientific Review Committee (SRC) and IRB Pre-Approval Deadline for projects that involve: human participants, vertebrate animals, potentially hazardous biological agents (microorganisms, recombinant DNA, tissues).

• Monday, March 16, 2026: MTSEF Registration Deadline for all milestones except Abstracts entered on STEM Wizard.

• Monday, March 23, 2026: MTSEF Entry Deadline for all milestones including Abstracts entered on STEM Wizard.

• Friday, March 27, 2026 MTSEF at the Ayers Academic Center 4th Floor Conference Room, Belmont University.

  • Check-In and Project Set-up: 2:00-5:30 pm

  • Public Viewing: 5:00-6:30 pm, Students can be at their projects but not required.

  • Main Fair Judging: 6:30 -8:00 pm, Students must be at their projects.

  • Project Removal (except projects selected for Grand Prize Judging): 8:00 - 8:30 pm

  • Grand Prize Judging (by invitation only): 8:30-9:30 pm.

• Monday, April 6 2026 Awards Ceremony: 6:30-8:30 pm  at the Ayers Academic Center 4th Floor Conference Room, Belmont University.
